About Project
This project features the design, fabrication, and installation of a custom prefab open room cabin measuring 6m L x 2.4m W x 2.4m H. Built for a location in Dubai, UAE, the cabin combines a robust tubular steel chassis with premium insulation and executive finishes including GFRP exterior lining and parquet flooring.
Project Description
The custom open cabin was engineered for maximum durability and aesthetic appeal. The structural base utilizes a steel tube chassis with protective primer, paired with 50mm Rock-wool wall insulation and a 50mm PU sandwich panel roof. The interior is finished with gypsum board and super white emulsion, while the exterior boasts a glossy GFRP sheet finish.

Structure & Build Specs

- Internal: 12 mm thick gypsum board finished with super white emulsion
- Insulation: 50mm thick Rock-wool insulation (30kg/m³ density)
Roof
- 50mm Polyurethane Aluminum Sandwich panel
- Exterior and interior flat – Colour: White
- GI Polyester coated sheets with steel supports
- Galvanized Steel, Thickness: 26 gauge (Outer GI thickness – 0.05mm)
- PU Insulation: 35Kg/m³, Thickness: 50mm, Color: RAL 9002
